Dexterity is a Business Central extension developed by De BI Controller B.V. that synchronises your ERP data into Microsoft Fabric and delivers a fully managed Bronze → Silver → Gold medallion lakehouse pipeline. From raw data to a Power BI Direct Lake–ready star schema — without writing a single line of code.
A complete medallion architecture — deployed for you
Most replication tools stop at moving data. Dexterity goes further. Every customer receives a fully managed Bronze → Silver → Gold pipeline in their own Microsoft Fabric workspace, built and maintained by De BI Controller B.V.:
- Bronze: Append-only raw Delta tables — your complete history preserved forever, nothing ever overwritten.
- Silver: One current row per business key, deduplicated and enriched. Option fields translated to readable text, GL hierarchies and dimensions applied automatically.
- Gold: A star schema with pre-built dimension and fact tables covering Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Projects. Power BI reads directly from OneLake in Direct Lake mode — no import, no refresh lag.

- Option fields translated automatically: Every BC Option field is replicated as both its integer value and its human-readable text label.
- Replicate any table, including third-party extension fields: Dexterity works at the OData layer, exposing fields added by any vertical or partner extension in your BC environment.
- Export and import configuration as a JSON template: Configure once and import into new environments in seconds — ideal for fast onboarding of additional tenants.
- Controlled field exposure by default: Fields are added as deselected — you consciously enable only what you need, preventing accidental replication of sensitive data.

- Connect Power BI to the Gold lakehouse via Direct Lake and start reporting on live data immediately.

Requirements
An active De BI Controller B.V. data replication service subscription is required. The Dexterity extension must be installed in your Business Central environment. A Microsoft Fabric capacity is required for the lakehouse pipeline.
